Today YouTube is considered the best video sharing website around the world, so many events are happening and most of them are being uploaded to YouTube. However, in this tutorial, I will show you How to rank a video. If you do not SEO your video properly you cannot get most of your video. More view and subscribers are waiting for you.

You just made a video and it is ready for upload , You uploaded it to your channel and you are now expecting to earn money. But nothing happen as expected. You need to do something more to rank your video in YouTube world.

• Keywords

Keywords is the main factor. You cannot use a word as your will because all the keywords are not benefited able for your videos. You need to choose a niche keyword which is being used globally to search a video. But how to do keyword research SEO. I have posted another post about keyword research SEO you may notice.

However, You have to put your targeted keywords in everywhere in your video. Example : Title, Description, Tag, Annotation even in the video file name. You may use some third party apps like the scrapbook, longtail, WOrdtracker to research keyword rather Google AdWords keyword planner.

• Title

Keep your keyword in your title and it is a must to rank your YouTube videos. Even a long tail keyword can be your video title. Make a catchy title your reader will love. The length of a title should be around 60-70 words.

•  Description

The description is the main factor. Your description should be kept 100-300 words. To rank your YouTube video the video must contain the targeted video several times. And in the description, you should add some internal link shortened by Google. Google really loves it. Sometimes we ignore it but Google thinks you are serious about Google. However, now you need to put the keywords that will be used in the tag section below of the description with commas. Make some park and keep it Professional. Simply describe what exactly the viewers going to watch the video.

• Tag

The tag is another main factor. Just collect some keywords related to your seed keyword and put it in the tag menu. That’s it.

• Playlist

In all, Make several playlists according to your videos and name it as your main video focus.
For Example : you are going to upload some Photoshop tutorials and simply name it as Photoshop tutorials. Make the good description for every playlist of your channel and it should also contain the keywords.

• Logo

Make a professional logo if possible hire a graphic designer to make a professional logo to rank your YouTube videos. The logo is not so important but it makes your viewers bound to subscribe your channel.

The cover photo is such item that your viewers see at first making the first visit to your channel. Make it simple and try to describe what you are showing into your channel. Your cover photo must not be so colorful but catchy. Example : You are showing Photoshop tutorials  so you can make a cover photo with some designs of toolbar like brush tool, pen tool, a logo, etc as your wish.

• Thumbnail

Here, Your viewers will surprise to see the thumbnail. Your thumbnail makes them think what actually in the video. They must view your video. You should keep your thumbnail look easy and unique.

• Comment

Make several unique comments to others YouTube video. It will work as back linking. You have to answer or solve the questions made by your audiences in the comment sections to get betterment of YouTube SEO optimization.

• Off page SEO

Off page, SEO refers to share your channel link to other website or social media like Facebook, google plus, Reddit, twitter, Instagram, Linked-in, Pinterest, etc. They will crawl visitors to your channel. After publishing a video never forget to share it to social media. You may make a website about your channel or make a Facebook page or google plus community to share the videos with your relatives.

• Video Editing

Good video editing is a must and is considered the most important factor of YouTube SEO optimization. Use some professional video editing software to rank your you-tube videos.
